The 2023 Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Stampede walk is here!!!  I invite you to join me for this year's event at the Detroit Zoo on Sunday, June 4th.  This is a great chance for you to meet new friends and support people battling scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease that I have been battling for the past three years. Your participation will help support the mission of the Scleroderma Foundation, an organization that works to bring important resources to patients all across the U.S.

As a new team participating in this year’s fundraiser I have set our fundraising goal at $1000. I know with the support I’ve seen in my journey thus far battling this disease that we can hit this goal (and then some) in the name of finding a cure for Scleroderma.
 

If you are local to Michigan I would love to see you walk with me on June 4th. You can register for the Sydney’s Sclero Steppers team walk by clicking the “Join the Team” button. All team participants receive a free t-shirt from the foundation and free admission to the zoo for the entire day. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m and closes at 8:30 a.m.  If you register after 8:30 a.m. you will have to pay an extra fee to enter the zoo after the walk.  The walk starts at 8:50 a.m. but there are fun games and vendor tents going on during the registration period.  

For all of my loved ones that live far away but still want to support the Sydney’s Sclero Steppers team virtually, you can do so by donating through the same link provided.
