The 2023 Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Stampede Walk is here!!! I invite you to join me for this year's event at the Detroit Zoo on Sunday, June 4th. This is an excellent chance for you to meet new friends and support people battling scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease that two of my closest friends are battling! Your participation will help support the mission of the Scleroderma Foundation, an organization that works to bring vital resources to patients all across the U.S.

As a new team participating in this year’s fundraiser, Syd set a fundraising goal of $1000. I set a personal goal of $200!

If you are local to Michigan, I would love to see you walk with me and Amara on June 4th. Register for Sydney’s Sclero Steppers team walk by clicking the “Join the Team” button. All team participants receive a free t-shirt from the foundation and free admission to the zoo for the entire day. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m and closes at 8:30 a.m. If you register after 8:30 a.m. you will have to pay an extra fee to enter the zoo after the walk. The walk starts at 8:50 a.m. but there are fun games and vendor tents going on during the registration period.
