The Jacksonville Support Group Team is very excited to be participating in our 3rd Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma event. We will walk as a satellite team here in Jacksonville at the same time the larger event is taking place in Coconut Creek, FL on Saturday, February 22. Last year we surpassed our goal and raised $4,450! We would love your help in meeting (or surpassing) this years goal of $6,000. The funds raised support research to cure this disease that so greatly affects our lives. 

WALK DETAILS

Saturday, February 22, 2025 location to be confirmed.

Participants arrive at 9:30. Walk begins at 10 am. 

We will have refreshments, raffle prizes, and games.

"Join our Team" This is for those who plan to walk with us either in Jacksonville or wherever you live. This option gets you a T-shirt and allows you to raise donations from your own network. Please register as a satellite walker.

Select "Donate Now" if you want to make a contribution but do not plan to participate in the walk.

If you don't have the funds to make a donation, please consider supporting us by sharing this fundraiser with your social media or email network. This is a rare disease and raising awareness in the community is crucial.

We are also seeking donated good/services from local businesses for our raffle. If you are interested in contributing something, please email Hannah at sclerodermajax@gmail.com

Contribute to our shoe drive. Bring new or gently used shoes you wish to donate. This aspect of our event is through Funds2Orgs, who will pick up the shoes and give us a check based on the weight of shoes collected. The shoes are donated to developing countries to create job opportunities and the funds raised go right to our Chapter.
