I was diagnosed with systemic sclerosis around March 2020...right at the peak of Covid-19. To say it has been a roller coaster of emotions would be a major understatement.
Like many others, I have what is referred to as overlap syndrome. It is also known as (MCTD) mixed connective tissue disease. It is a lovely combination of rheumatoid arthritis, Scleroderma, Raynauds, Lupus, gastroparesis and more.
I try to raise awareness whenever I can, to help people understand the battle many of us fight, on a daily basis.
