Mindy's Birthday Fundraiser
My life has been totally upended by Scleroderma. Five days after diagnosis late in 2018, I experienced a life threatening emergency resulting in a 98-day hospital stay. Scleroderma had caused my lungs to hemmorage and fail, leading to a tracheotomy and intubation as well as a lenghty period of time on an ECMO machine (to give my lungs a chance to rest and recover). I miraculously survived and now live with advanced Interstitial Lung Disease, Systemic Scleroderma and other autoimmune diseases. I am a candidate for double lung transplant. To celebrate my 65th birthday(!!!), I am fundraising for the Scleroderma Foundation to help those whose lives have been affected by this disease. All donations go towards necessary research to help find treatment and a cure for scleroderma.
