Hope Raisers

In memory of Edna Mackey, the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter's Office Manager from January 2019 through September 2020, Edna's family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Scleroderma Foundation Texas Bluebonnet Chapter to support patient education, awareness of the disease and research into a cure.   

Edna was a faithful participant in the Houston Stepping Out events for many years in support of the sister, Peggy Brown, who is a scleroderma patient.  Edna's sister Peggy served in many roles on the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter Board of Directors, including Chapter President, and the same year Peggy retired from the board, Edna continued to show her support by becoming the TBC Office Manager.

Edna's family hopes that Edna's Hope Raising for the Scleroderma Foundation will be a fitting way to honor Edna and her many years of service and support of the Scleroderma Foundation.
