Hello beautiful friends and family! A sincere and huge heartfelt thank you for taking the time to visit my personal fundraising page to support the "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" event!
June is National Scleroderma awareness month. On February 4th, 2021, one day after my birthday, I was given the late birthday gift that keeps on giving, the diagnosis of Scleroderma. I remember looking at the Doctor and asking, I have what? Can you spell that please? For someone with a long history of other autoimmune diseases, this was one I'd never heard of, and quickly realized I was not alone in my lack of awareness. So when presented with the opportunity to raise awareness and funds, I thankfully and joyfully accepted the challenge because that is at least something that people with scleroderma can control.
I will be walking on June 25th from 8-9am around Penn Forest track. If you would like to join my team, Footsteps For A Reason, and come take a few laps with me, I'd love to see your beautiful self. Or, if you'd like to take a few laps virtually I will have my phone, give me a shout out. Another option is to just send some love out that day to the peeps fighting the Scleroderma fight, and maybe spend a few minutes researching the disease. Awareness is so important, so please, please, please don't feel like donating is necessary.
But if you want to donate, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to support me and help raise funds for scleroderma patients. To make a donation, click the "Donate Now" button that appears under Jet girl's photo. Then, just follow the instructions.
Or if you would like to join me in person or virtually on the 25th and help raise funds, please click on “Join My Team” and follow the directions.
Please help today! I sincerely appreciate your support, and please share this with anyone who you think might want to help.
Help me bring more awareness to scleroderma so we can find a cure! Peace and love to you today and always, Beth.
