I will be participating in the “Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma” walk-a-thon on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Oak Grove Lake Park in Chesapeake, and I need your support! Scleroderma is a rare but devastating disease for which there is no cure and affects over 300,000 people.
By joining my team you will help raise awareness and much neeed funding for research, not to mention the power in numbers that can provide many with that one piece of inspiration to keep going. There are many attendees who look forward to this event to meet others with Scleroderma, to walk in memory of loved ones, and to offer support to raising awareness all at a beautiful tree-lined lake park.
If you don't think you are able to participate but would still like to support the organization and my efforts, please click on the "Donate Now". There is also a raffle - tickets on sale now!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
All contributions go to the Scleroderma Foundation to help find a cure for those whose lives have been affected by scleroderma. If you would like to find out more about scleroderma and the Foundation, please visit national.scleroderma.org.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to participate too!
In hopes for a cure~
