Welcome to Team I Love Lucy - My Personal Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Page!
Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page to support the 2023 South Carolina Chapter Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma event!
Anyone who knows me knows I am doing this for Amy. She was such an inspiration and such a fun friend! She was the Lucy to my Ethel ... she had a great outlook on life and really showed us all how to live well. If you are able, please donate to my page. Better yet, join my team "I LOVE LUCY"!
Go to www.scleroderma.org/steppingoutsc and click register and join a team and search I Love Lucy! You can also go directly to the I LOVE LUCY page by going to: www.scleroderma.org/goto/ILOVELUCY
Our event is HYBRID this year. That means that in-person gatherings are permitted, but you can also choose to step out on your own. Anyone, anywhere, can participate! You can walk, run, sit and have refreshments, paddle a canoe or kayak, OR eat chocolate, ride a horse and have a MARGARITA (Amy would LOVE that!)!
In Greenville, SC, we plan to meet at Legacy Park, 336 Rocky Slope Rd, at 2 PM on Saturday, May 20th. We will spend time visiting with each other and we can stroll the fully accessible paved path through the beautiful garden. Bring a snack for yourself and your family and join us!
Kickoff date is Sunday, May 1, 2023 and finish date is Mary 20th. While you do whatever you do, please snap a photo or take a video. Hold up a Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma sign or wear a past Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma T-Shirt! Share your photos and videos to our Scleroderma Foundation South Carolina Chapter Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages .... search @scscleroderma and you will find us! Tag Amy Bono Parrish on Facebook, too!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to support me and help raise funds for scleroderma patients. To make a donation, click the "Donate Now" button that appears under my photo. Then, just follow the instructions. To join Team I Love Lucy, please click on “Join My Team” and follow the directions.
Help me bring more awareness to scleroderma so we can find a cure! Thank you very much.
