On July 14, 2019 my mom at only 73 years old, passed away from a disease called Scleroderma. She had a unique soul with a smile that always filled the air with peace and harmony. On Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Boston, I will walk a 5K in memory of my mom and for all those affected by Scleroderma.
This disease affects less then 500,000 people in the United States, therefore, does not recieve federal funding. Scleroderma affects approximately 300,000 people throughout the United States today. It is a chronic disease in which the body’s immune system attacks it own tissues. Scleroderma occurs three to four times more often in women than in men, and it also affects children.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to support me and help raise funds for scleroderma patients. To make a donation, click the "Donate Now" button that appears under my photo. Then, just follow the instructions.
I sincerely appreciate your support, and please share this with anyone who you think might want to help.
Help me bring more awareness to Scleroderma so we can find a cure!
