Scleroderma is a chronic, often progressive, autoimmune disease (similar to lupus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis) in which the body's immune system attacks its own tissue. I was diagnosed with systemic scleroderma in 2015 and have received excellent medical care in the Twin Cities.
