debilitating and can be fatal. Sharon has had the disease for 37 years and the last 15 or so have been very difficult for her with several extended stays in the hospital (as well as a bout with colon cancer during the latter part of 2020). Since August 2021, she has had a trach and uses a ventilator at night. Since May 2022, she resides in a nursing facility in Delaware.
