I call myself a Rebel, because those that know me, know that early on in my journey I knew I was sick, something was wrong and for almost 3 years NO one could tell me just what I had, and I wasn't giving up until I found out!

WELL...we did find out, only we had never heard of Scleroderma and what it could do.

It was very scary for myself and my family over the next few years. We searched for Dr.'s who could help, support groups I could go to and any Research that was being done. 20 years ago there was very little.

I do not know why I have been "Blessed" with living fairly well with Scleroderma for all these years, most Scleroderma patients are not so lucky.

So as long as I have a voice I will continue to spread awareness for this Disease so others do not have to go thru what I went thru.

This may be my personal cause, but I know with all my heart that I am not alone in this fight.
