Delaware Valley Support Groups

Support groups provide a forum to share feelings, concerns, information as well as a place to offer peer support and encouragement. Solicitations or research projects are not conducted at support group meetings.

Support groups often feature speakers specializing in scleroderma or related topics. To find out information about upcoming speakers or meeting topics, please contact the support group leader or chapter office.

This schedule is subject to change. Before attending a group for the first time, please call to verify date and time. Groups are free of charge and are open to everyone.

Email Support Group
We have started an email support group for those patients and families who are not close to one of our existing support groups or for those who would like to participate in addition to attending a support group. There is a weekly discussion topic by email, and everyone is free to comment or ask questions at any time. You can participate as little or as much as you like.  If you are interested in being part of an email support group, please contact the office at 856-779-7225 or Colleen Ferara via email here.

Would you like to become a Support Group Leader?
We are always looking to expand our support groups into new areas. Please contact our office if you are interested in becoming a Support Group Leader.

Need to talk to someone?
Meet our new Patient & Caregiver Outreach Chair! Kathy will be reaching out to patients and caregivers to learn how the Scleroderma Foundation of the Delaware Valley can best assist in providing information about our programs and services. Meet Kathy!

Kathy Griffin patient caregiver outreach chair“I am excited to begin my new role as the Patient and Caregiver Outreach Chair at the Scleroderma Foundation Delaware Valley Chapter. I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1995. Joining the Board of Directors last year has strengthened my commitment to advocacy. As the Support Group Leader for Camden and Burlington counties, I enjoy helping patients access the resources they need to improve their lives. I am looking forward to assisting patients and caregivers in the Delaware Valley."

We want to hear from you. How can we help?
