Demetra Newton and Sy Fuller The Scleroderma Foundation (BIPOC) Program was founded to address the needs of Black, Indigenous and People of Color diagnosed with scleroderma, a health disparity in members who have a higher prevalence of scleroderma. These populations with scleroderma have an earlier age of onset and are more likely to manifest diffuse skin involvement, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and pulmonary arterial hypertension. The SF-BIPOC Program will provide innovative educational programs, topics unique to the needs of the groups, emotional support, and health resources to promote a healthy lifestyle.
